Celebrating more than 10 years of providing lifelong homes for people with disabilities among a caring circle of friends in the Upper Valley!
Mission
The mission of Visions for Creative Housing Solutions is to provide residential options, services and support designed to meet the needs of adults with developmental disabilities and similar disabling conditions. We are dedicated to fostering growth and independence through vocational, social, and recreational opportunities. Our goal is to proactively facilitate the transition of care for adults with developmental and similar disabilities from their aging parents to a stable, reliable and caring environment. We offer wrap around supports designed to facilitate long term friendships and a sense of well-being and self-worth.
"For us, the parents and legal guardians of a 32-year-old developmentally delayed daughter, Visions provides THE answer to the question: who will care for her when we no longer can? But it's much more than just providing permanent and safe housing. Visions provides a positive, affirmative, and engaging community of a small group of other residents, dedicated and well-trained staff, and a stable organization that has successfully become a part of the Upper Valley region.”
~ Carl Thum, parent and Board President
In 2024, in recognition of Visions 10th Anniversary and the 34th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Mayor Tim McNamara issued a proclamation declaring July 25th as Disability Justice Day in the City of Lebanon. On July 24, 2025, Mayor Douglas Whittlesey read the proclamation again, reaffirming the City’s commitment to Disability Justice.
