About the New Hampshire Supportive Housing Toolkit
The State of New Hampshire recognized that the Visions’ model is one that should be embraced and in 2019 the New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority offered funding through an Emerging Opportunities grant for development of this free online resource.
We are enthusiastic about sharing our model! Our hope is that this Toolkit encourages others to replicate what Visions has done, in whole or in part, to develop more supported housing options for adults with disabilities in their own communities. Since we started keeping track of downloads in the fall of 2023, the Toolkit has been downloaded more than 200 times by people in 24 different states. There are currently five other nonprofit organizations in New Hampshire using the Toolkit as a guide in developing their own supported housing options.
Note that Visions looks forward to updating the Toolkit by the end of 2026, since some of the links to specific state resources have changed along with changes in policies and process on the state level.
